Adapting a Proven Podio Package for a New Location
House of Resources Rhein-Main, a project of beramí e. V., supports volunteer initiatives, migrant organisations and associations in the Rhine-Main region with advice, training, project support and event organisation. Its digital lists had reached their limits.
The Challenge: A Lot of Administration
Advising associations, running trainings, planning projects and organising events creates a large administrative load. The overview had been kept in digital lists — but the goal was a solution that links data and gives every team member access in real time.
Kollaborateure had already developed an extended Podio workspace and app package for the BAMF programme together with House of Resources Berlin. It was a solid foundation, but every location works differently, so the processes had to be adapted to Rhine-Main.
The Solution: Tailored in Web Meetings
The required changes were discussed in web meetings, where the team showed how they actually work. Kollaborateure adapted the apps step by step, aligning every change with the project lead.
After only a few days and a short first training, the team began testing and entering data. Following further adjustments, existing data was imported and views for reporting were created.
More Than Case Files
Contact management is now connected to Mailchimp for newsletters and event invitations. Event registration runs through a web form, and the lending of technical equipment became more professional.
